Shona wins Celebrating Excellence award

Care and Support West is a representative body for companies, charities, organisations, and individuals involved in social care, support, and health sectors in the West of England. They hold annual Care Awards which recognise those that demonstrate commitment and excellence within the care industry.
In October, Shona received the Celebrating Excellence award for her outstanding performance in her role as Deputy Manager for Bosun Care Ltd. Her nomination read:
"Shona has developed effective relationships within her team, and with service users and their families. She is professional and supportive and gives everyone a safe space to talk and time to express themselves. She also engages more widely in the system to improve the engagement of healthcare services by those service users with more complex needs. Her management style is supportive and empathetic whilst being able to help the team with quality improvement and she celebrates both staff and service users' goals and achievements."
